I don't think many brands are on the same level as Saucony is when it comes to general release products. Each project & colorway has a purpose & isn't just another black & white shoe thrown in the pot. For this pack, I ended up liking this colorway a lot more than I thought I would since the darker pair was initially what caught my eye, but the level of detail on these is where they come to life.

Materials: immediately I noticed that panels of the upper have a rubber feel to them, which plays into the theme of the Winter Tech Pack. The panels have shades of cream, grey, & midnight navy that in a nutshell remind me of winter time lol. As you transition to the mesh, there's a triangle pattern on a 🩶 mesh that runs t/o it, that reminds me of little mini mountains 🏔️. It's something small, but imo, that's what separates their gr's from other companies. As you move to the heel, there's a translucent window with Omni 9 branding, followed by a series of rubberized panels & a S logo sitting in the middle on a 3m hit. I will note, the upper isn't weatherproof, but is definitely meant for rougher terrain given the materials used on the panels. Overall, I feel like a lot of folks slept on these or just weren't aware of this pack bc truthfully, they're great.

Comfort/Sizing: straight out of the box, the ProGrid Omni 9 has a short break-in period that feels really similar to a 2002r once they are fully broken in and makes a great everyday pair. For sizing, I bought a 7.5 (half down) due to availability & they have a nice snug fit, if you want extra room, you can tts.

Overall Opinion: like I stated at the beginning, when the product photos rolled out I really liked the darker pair more, but in hand, I was really impressed by these. I feel like they look even better on feet, which sometimes isn't the case lol. Saucony continues to put out unique & meaningful products, which is what has really drawn me towards their designs. If you're looking to pick up a pair of these, they're pretty much available at most retailers/can be found on sale.
