These are really special in hand & there's a lot more to it than what you initially see in pics. Once again, UpThere made another banger in their lineup. From what I saw as the release rolled thru, this was an email exclusive/f&f release that was prolly one of the most low-key drops this year lol. Thank you @uptherestore for sending these over & allowing me to be a part of this moment.

Materials: starting at the toe cap, there's a glossy 🤍 panel w/ baby 💙 lines that ends at the first 2 eyelets. Behind that panel is a lavender-pink panel (kinda has a somewhat metallic hue) w/ 💙 & 🤍 lines that move up each panel and continues behind the N logo (Lowkey reminds me of a ladder 😂). The most unique feature is hands down the mesh bc it's a light 🩷 hue, with a celestial glitter effect. The N logo itself has a 💙 border w/ a 🤍 inlay & it sits above a 🤍 diamond pattern mesh. As I've said before, it wouldn't be an UpThere Collab w/o some 3m & on these, they snuck some around the N logo and once again on the back heel. As you move to the back heel, there's a 🤍 mesh base surrounded by a 💙 & 🩷 panel that has a cutout for the NB logo, which is done in a neon green w/ 💙 letters. As you move to the tongue, there's more of that pink, glittery mesh, followed by a 🩷 ripstop near the top w/ more NB branding in 💙 & neon 💚. & Lastly, on the insole, they went with a neon green insole w/ more NB branding. Overall, this is a really special pair & I really wanted to showcase some of its special features.

Comfort/Sizing: the 860v2 is my favorite retro runner from NB from an aesthetic standpoint & the comfort is pretty squishy since it uses the same outsole as the 2002r & 1906r. For sizing, Id go tts or your usual 2002r/1906r if you're unsure.

Overall Opinion: Huge congrats to the crew over at UpThere. They've been consistently putting out beautiful designs & this was another one of those designs that feel special & knowing the purpose of the design gives me a huge amount of gratitude. Idk if there will be a release later, but as of now, I've heard nothing else, so congrats if you copped 🎂🌸
